Merry "Coxy" Christmas!

Image
Wishing alll my readers, colleagues, friends, acquaintances and family a very Merry "Coxy" Christmas and A Happy New Year! Eat, eat more, drink, drink more - enjoy and make most of the festive season, make sweet love, make up with one another, forgive one another, forget about the past and leave it behind you; make amends; have a laugh...laugh out loud...reunite with friends and family alike; extend a hand if you can to the needy; life is too short to hold grudges...so share jokes; take some - 'dish' - some...! Most importantly lets remind ourselves why we celebrate this day (Christmas Day) - is because the one who takes away the sins of the world is born - let his birth be manisfested in our way of life and thoughts...live life to the fullest and always remember not to take life too seriously because you will never get out of it alive... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Lots of  love to you...Yes I mean YOU! and A Happy New Year full of positivity.

Where is the justification~?

Image
In the wake of the IPCC investigation confirming today that the bullet that allegedly came from the hand gun of the deceased Mark Duggan, the young man whose death in Tottenham many believe has triggered the chaos and sheer crimininality of arson , burglary , looting and the destruction of properties causing severe havoc and dent in the livelihood of many in the city of London which in effect has spread across the rest of the country, apparently did not fortunately or unfortunately advance from his gun to an extended degree raises a lot of questions on the minds of his family and society as a whole why he was simply shot dead.

West Ham's Cole fined over Ghana jibes

Image
Carlton Cole - fined for silly jibes LONDON, April 20, 2011 (AFP) - West Ham and England striker Carlton Cole has been fined and warned following his Twitter outburst against Ghana fans last month. Cole used the micro-blogging website to make some ill-judged comments about the large numbers of Ghana supporters at Wembley for last month's friendly draw against England. He tweeted: "Immigration has surrounded the Wembley premises! I knew it was a trap! Hahahaha. "The only way to get out safely is to wear an England jersey and paint your face w/ the St. George's flag!" Cole accepted a charge of improper conduct for the remarks and after requesting a personal hearing, he was fined £20,000 ($32,000) on Wednesday and warned as to his future conduct. What's the world becoming?

Image
No doubt the world is heading fast to no where good...Crises upon crises and from country to country with people being manipulated as puppets and with continual innocent lives being sacrificed...all for what? for some fat belly numskull to remain in power and continue to oppress the people that make the country? Something definitely is not right in the heads of some leaders and are not fit to even teach a kindergarten let alone to lead a nation.  People are so bent on greed, corruption and power and are willing and ready to tread the extremes to attain what they have set their eyes on...     Ivory Coast atrocities- is this what we call the value of life?

The hands of time~

Image
If you could turn back the hands of time what would you do differently?  A mind boggling question that places one in sacred moments of light and truth which transcends into a re-evaluation process of past events, conducts, some unforgiven mistakes in the eyes of man and so forth...

The toughest tongue twister~

Here is something to get your tongue twisted this week... " The sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick" Apparently this is said to be the toughest tongue twister in the english language... Go ahead, give it a goal and see how deeply rolled or twisted your tongue is!

And the score is.....? Eng 1 Ghana 1~

Yesterday marked a memorable day in history as the Black Stars of Ghana took on the Lions of England on a long awaited game of  'footie' in the history of both the Ghanaian and the English football. As anticipated an impressive number of Ghanaians travelled from around the world to the spectacular wembley stadium to tattoo this red letter day in their memory.

The Day of Reckoning, Eng vs Ghana~

Image
The day of reckoning closes in when Ghana takes on England for the very first time in the history of football...For the Ghanaians it feels like heaven on earth as it has been a long time time coming...England its a great nation of great reputation and Ghanaians feel proud in all association with England...

Meaning of the Video - I was born this way - lady gaga~

The song by itself has an uplifting message: to love and accept oneself unconditionally, the way God made us. However (there’s always a “however” with Gaga), the video takes things to another level … literally. The “Manifesto of Mother Monster” and its related symbolism give the song a cosmic-battle-between-good-and-evil quality, interlaced with the heralding of a new race and, to use Crowley’s terminology, a new eon.

Japan Disaster...

Image
Is without a question that natural disasters are such powerful acts of God that with all the inventions that mankind has created with the acquired knowledge, skill and well advanced technologies we still cannot cease these from causing ruinous endings. Thousands of people have tragically lost their lives in the wake of the tsunami in Japan and our hearts and prayers our with the people of Japan during these difficult times. tsunami manoeuvering its way The sad songs that have filled many hearts, the grieving and sorrows the people of Japan and many others from around the world have to endure as a result of this disastrous act is disheartening and unquenchable with no amount of words. Listening in on the news this morning over 2000s lives have been lost and still counting ~ many would ask the question why...? As we join the rest of the world to grieve and mourn with victimised families and of those who h...

Don't write us off as yet...

Image
Yes yes yes...it is fair and understandable to hammer it in as United has under performed in its last 2 games - first with the 'Blues' and second a dreadful performance against the 'Liverpudlians' ...2 losses in a row?

A man's bum...is it true?

I was reading a fact file this morning and I came across this alleged fact so I thought I shared with you since my blog is all about sharing... It stated that... "...to women a man's bottom (bum) is the most admired part of his body..." Well I know some women have this fetich about a man's 'arse' but to what degree is this true to the ladies? Enlighten us with your comments please if you will...

Confidence Restorers~

Many of us if not all have been in and out of era when we felt so low with our self esteem dipped below measure; true or false? I emphatically think its true ~ a feeling of unconsciousness that as humans we are susceptible to which in many ways results in our own demise if we don't rapidly recondition our way of thinking and perception. Even when one tries to instil the   'we are' and the 'we can' attitude back within, many a times we resort to the ' we cannot ' mindset...

Good beginnings...

T he month of March incepted very well...the early highlights of the month which I'm by far marvelled by was witnessing my baby graduate with her Masters degree in Social Work...when I reflect back on the hard work she put in her studies, the sleepless nights and all the back breaking assignments that she had to undertake, there is absolutely no doubt that every moment of her graduation was worth it!

T G I F

Image
Its not always one could admittedly say that one has had a good week...I'm glad that I can confidently say I have had a good week...certain things believed and hoped for through God's guidance have fallen at the right places and to him I owe all gratitudes.

Time to regroup...

Image
Is this really what I desire? For few years now I deliberated on the career path I would like to take...decision making does not come easy..but I thrived finally with high hopes and certainty of where I eventually want to get to and become.

Careless words cost lives...

This  goes on to say that when one hears something of a negative vibe about someone, one has to be careful and tread right lest one jumps to a catastrophic conclusion. What do we do then? We ask ourselves 4 significant questions...

Why Africa is 25 years behind the developed world...

Well lets just carry out some simple age analysis of African Leaders and compare with that of their Western counterparts and see what our findings shall be:

The Snow; Memoirs of MrCoXy

Image
The return of the snow brings back some dispirited memories which I thought of sharing considering my personal involvement in it. This I call "Nana's spectacular fall"; it feels like just yesterday when my colleagues and I were in the office just laughing out loud, although it happened a year ago;...it was about this lady wearing high heels on a snowy day, worst part, the black ice...what was she thinking?! That was the question on everyone's mind.
